The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) is the official circuit, run by EA. A year is split into regional Pro League stages, then playoffs, then an international championship. Teams are three players. Each match is a lobby of squads, and points come from placement and eliminations across a set of games rather than from a head-to-head series. The group that finishes a match day with the most points advances or takes the prize, depending on the stage. Regional leagues decide who qualifies for the LAN championship. There is no best-of series: the result of a day is the sum of the games played in that lobby window.
