Clash Royale esports is organized by Supercell and played one versus one. A match is a series of battles on the same ladder rules the game uses in ranked play, and the player who wins the required number of battles takes the series. The season is a set of monthly qualifiers and seasonal cups that lead to a world final. There is no five-player roster: the competitor is the player, sometimes under a team tag. Regions run their own qualifiers, and the world final is the event where those winners meet. The card pool and the banned cards can change between seasons, so a result from one month is played under that month's rules.
