PUBG: Battlegrounds esports uses lobbies of four-player squads. A match is one battle royale game, and a tournament day is a set of those games. Points come from placement and kills, added across the games in the session. There is no head-to-head series score. The PUBG Global Series and regional leagues fill the year, and the PUBG Global Championship plus the PUBG Nations Cup are the main international events. A season is the sequence of those stages. The squad that finishes the final session with the most points wins the event. Rosters are four players, with a substitute allowed under the event rules.
