Dplus KIA play
Bilibili Gaming in a Worlds 2026 quarterfinal on Thursday, 5 November, 16:00 CST (UTC-6, 23:00 CET) in Allen, Texas. One side left Swiss 3–0. The other left it 3–2. The series is a Bo5.
The rest of the knockout map is in our Worlds quarterfinals piece. This one is how they got here.
3–0 meets 3–2
Dplus KIA did not play a fourth Swiss match. G2 Esports 1–0, T1 1–0, Movistar KOI 2–0. Worlds games: 4–0. The T1 win is the one that sticks. In September they had lost a LCK playoff Bo5 to that same roster, 1–3. In Allen they took the Bo1 and went home before Round 4 existed.
Bilibili Gaming went the long way. They dropped Round 1 to Movistar KOI 0–1, beat Team Liquid 1–0 and Karmine Corp 1–0, lost a Bo3 to Top Esports 1–2, then swept Hanwha Life Esports 2–0 in Round 5. Series 3–2. Worlds games 5–3. The night they had to win was a Bo3 against a Korean side, and they closed it 2–0.
What the last 10 hide
On ReadyCheck, Dplus KIA's last 10 finished series are 7–3. Bilibili Gaming's last 10 are also 7–3. The line is the same. The Worlds sample inside it is not.
For DK, three of those ten are the Swiss sweep. The losses in the ten are LCK: T1 1–3, KT Rolster 0–3, Hanwha Life 0–2. They also beat Gen.G 2–1 in the Legend Group on 22 August, then still had to go through the LCK lower bracket.
For BLG, five of those ten are Worlds (3–2). The other hole is the LPL grand final, 13 September: Anyone's Legend 3–1 after BLG had just 3–0'd them in the upper-bracket final. They arrived in Allen as LPL runners-up, went 0–1, and still made the last eight.
July, already
They have one finished series in 2026: Esports World Cup quarterfinal, 17 July, Dplus KIA 2–1. That is the whole head-to-head. A Bo3 in Saudi Arabia is not a Worlds Bo5 in Texas. It is the only tape we have of these two in the same series this year.
ShowMaker against knight. Smash against Viper. Siwoo, Lucid, Career on one side. Bin, XUN, ON, Flandre on the other. The names are not new. The format is: first to three, loser's year over.
Our read
Dplus KIA are the cleaner path into this quarterfinal. Unbeaten Swiss, already a win over T1 in this building, no series that went longer than a 2–0. That is a favorite's file.
It is not a free Bo5. Bilibili Gaming have already lost in Allen and kept walking. The side that just 2–0'd Hanwha Life in a must-win Round 5 is not the side that dropped Round 1. If this stays a short, mid-controlled series, DK should take it. If it becomes five games, BLG have spent two weeks playing from 0–1.
How do you see it? The pick is on the match page. Fan votes are too thin to print a split.
The rest of Allen is in the quarterfinals piece.
