Live schedule and standings: SAL, Six Invitational

Team Vitality has not confirmed anything. However, the report is solid: following the departure of
Ninjas in Pyjamas, a 10th slot is up for grabs in the South America League. If Ubisoft gives the green light, the French organization would field an R6 squad in Brazil, four years after shutting down its European division.

What is confirmed, what is not
NIP announced its exit from the Brazilian R6 ecosystem in mid-August after moving the roster to the bench on August 14. The SAL slot officially remains vacant.
SuperNova confirmed advanced discussions with Ubisoft—advanced enough that the roster attended the official Stage 2 Media Day wearing SuperNova jerseys. Talks ultimately fell through, with the Brazilian club declining to share details "out of respect for all parties involved."
That is where Vitality entered the picture. According to reports from R6Atualizado, corroborated by SiegeGG, Ubisoft is currently in talks with the French organization. Nothing has been signed yet.
On the player side, the same names have been circulating since NIP's exit: the core trio of Pino, Wizard, and Bassetto, coach Freezão, alongside Psycho (Six Invitational 2021 champion with NIP) and Darkeyss. Vitality has not confirmed any official starting five.
A crucial rule detail: to retain the SI Points collected during the Kickoff and Stage 1, the new organization must field at least three players from the previous NIP roster.
Why Brazil, why now?
Vitality is already established in Europe (LoL, CS2, Rocket League, Valorant) and in Southeast Asia via its partnership with Bigetron. An entry into the SAL would be far from a minor secondary project: it represents a direct foothold in Latin America's most passionate esports market, within a powerhouse region where FaZe and FURIA recently reached the EWC grand final.
The timing is strategic. The Six Invitational 2027 has been awarded to Brazil, marking its second local edition following São Paulo 2024. Entering the SAL now allows the organization to build a local fanbase, secure sponsors, and launch team bundles well ahead of the event rather than showing up the month of the tournament.
How R6 Share works
Ubisoft distributes 30% of net revenue from selected esports cosmetics directly to partner organizations across three main streams:
- Major: An event-exclusive operator bundle where 30% of net sales boosts the prize pool.
- League: 30% of net revenue from regional league bundles distributed based on club Tiers (1 / 2 / 3), supplemented by a performance pool for top-performing teams.
- Team: 30% of net revenue from team-branded cosmetics paid directly to the organization.
Since 2025, the Affiliate Program has expanded this framework: up to 23 organizations outside the core Partner Program share a dedicated revenue pool (funded by partner bundle sales and direct Ubisoft contributions). Joining the SAL grants immediate access to this program and paves the way for Vitality skins to return to the in-game store.
What remains to be seen
Stage 2 kicks off on September 5. Ubisoft must finalize the 10th slot, Vitality must sign off on the move, and the roster must satisfy the three-player rule to protect its Six Invitational point tally.
Until official statements are released, the move remains a rumor—albeit a highly logical one given the organization's international expansion strategy.
